Our amazing team was acknowledged for their hard work and dedication at the Private Dentistry Awards, London, where we won the award for ‘Best Team’..
2007
2007 saw our biggest move yet to the Tower House, which is where our practice is currently located. This would also be the year to see the start of our El-Nashar Dental Care Balls to raise money for charity, over £35,000 raised over the years.
2012
We began our journey as a membership practice, offering our patients a range of membership options to best suit their clinical needs.
2017
A team bike ride and a weekend away at Fistral Beach for the whole team! A lovely treat from Hassan and Sharon.
2021
2021 saw the introduction of even more state-of-the-art digital technology into the practice, with our CBCT and Intra-Oral Scanner. 2021 also saw another weekend away at Fistral Beach – a thank you from Hassan and Sharon to the whole team for their support and hard work through a very difficult couple of years.

The team attended the Probe Awards, where Hassan won the prestigious award of ‘Dentist of the Year’
2016
2016 was a busy year! It saw our very successful Glamour & Glitz Charity Ball, our 8th year of achieving the BDA Good Practice Award and an abseil down Canonteign Falls!
2020
The year we navigated through COVID, thank you to our amazing and resilient team and our wonderful patients.
2023
25 years of El-Nashar Dental Care! Such a milestone in the practice’s journey and a testament to Hassan and Sharon for steering the ship over these years. Here is to many more years of providing excellent dental care and making more memories!

The past 25 years have seen El-Nashar Dental Care grow and flourish from 1 surgery and 4 team members to a 5-surgery practice with nearly 30 team members! We have continued to develop as a practice and team, investing in new technologies, in team training and expanding the range of services we offer to our patients. We have always been guided by our vision which is to provide excellent clinical care and outstanding customer service. We couldn’t have got to where we are without the support of our incredible team (both past and present) and our wonderful patients.
PART 1 OF REVIEW
I was referred to El Nashar in Newton Abbot after my then Dentist in Chudleigh failed to look after my needs. My top front teeth needed urgent repair and I was initially seen by Dr Joanna Sutcliffe. The advice and help I received from commencement has been really good and I am now awaiting a bespoke moulded top teeth fitting to enable me to move forward with teeth !! Initially, I had to see a Hygienist, Sian Baldwin 3 times, and because of her advice I changed my brushing regime to be more thorough.
I will return with an update once my treatment is completed. So far everyone is really friendly and give a great service
PART 2 OF REVIEW
Following my initial review, I am happy to report that I now have an installed set of El Nashar "Gnashers" as my top front teeth !!
A bespoke installation thanks to the wonderful handiwork and measurements of Dr Joanna and her brilliant assistant Mary.
Right from the start, my experience has been 5 Star. All staff are polite, helpful, and ready to assist. My hygienist, Sian Baldwin, taught me how to properly look after my teeth and I am most grateful for that. I now clean my teeth differently and more thoroughly than I have ever done.
With my new El Nashar "Gnashers" from Dr Joanna's design, I am good to go !!!

I cannot speak highly enough of everyone at this practice. After a lifetime of dental anxiety, I had my first filling today, and it was completely pain free (can't believe I'm saying that!).
A huge thank you to Rajesh and Kera for making the procedure such a positive experience, and to Tiffany, the Treatment Co-Ordinator, for taking the time to prepare and reassure me both before the appointment and on the day itself.
I felt genuinely cared for from start to finish and would highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially if you're nervous about visiting the dentist.
Had my appointments today first with hygienist Erica who is always fantastic, she takes great care, is really patient (which i really do appreciate, as I'm a nervous patient when it comes to the dentist) she's very thorough too, she was with Stacey today who was just as lovely & polite. It's lovely to have Erica back, she was missed during her maternity!
I then had my check up with Mark who deals with our whole family, he's always professional, so cheery, chatty & friendly! All in all (as dentist appointments go) a great visit & no further treatment required atm 😅
The reception team were as lovely as always very helpful & smiley.
