Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is one of the easiest ways to enhance and improve your smile. We offer two methods of teeth whitening: in-practice whitening and a home whitening kit.

Whether you want to add a sparkle to your smile for a special occasion, or just want to boost your confidence, we can help you. Teeth whitening is a simple, affordable and safe procedure that can transform your life.

Teeth whitening can make people feel years younger, erasing the stains that build up over the years from coffee, red wine, cigarettes and much more.

Why do teeth become stained?

Over time, your teeth can become yellow and stained from many lifestyle factors. Certain foods and drinks like red wine, coffee, citrus fruits, curry and vinegar will all stain your teeth over time. Smoking and chewing tobacco will also cause significant yellowing of the teeth. If you have poor oral hygiene, you will be putting your teeth at risk of quicker staining.

At El-Nashar Dental Care we use Boutique Whitening, which is one of the UK’s most trusted teeth whitening brands. We offer a range of gels to suit every lifestyle. Boutique by Day needs only 90 minutes daily wear, and Boutique by Night whitens as you sleep.

Then to complement the amazing whitening, use Boutique Biomin toothpaste – clinically proven to relieve sensitivity and prolong the effects of whitening.

The whitening trays we use are manufactured by the most experienced plastics laboratory in the UK so quality comes as standard.

The 3 step whitening process

Step 1

Consultation

If you are already a member of our practice, you are entitled to a free no obligation consultation. In this appointment, we will discuss the whitening treatment in detail and assess your suitability. Most patients are suitable teeth whitening but we like to double check that your dental health will be safe after the treatment. If you decide to go ahead with the treatment, impressions will be taken of your teeth ready for your custom made whitening trays.

Step 2

Begin to use Biomin Toothpaste

The Biomin toothpaste works seamlessly with the whitening gels to reduce sensitivity and strengthen enamel.

Boutique Biomin contains active ingredients which are gradually released over 12 hours.  These ingredients help to remineralise the enamel of your teeth, making them more resistant to acid attacks. This means that when you eat foods and have drinks which are high in acid, the acid is neutralised. Boutique Biomin ingredients also help to reduce the sensitivity of your teeth.

Step 3

Begin Whitening!

Once you and the dentist have discussed the best approach you can begin your journey to whiter brighter teeth!

  • PART 1 OF REVIEW I was referred to El Nashar in Newton Abbot after my then Dentist in Chudleigh failed to look after my needs. My top front teeth needed urgent repair and I was initially seen by Dr Joanna Sutcliffe. The advice and help I received from commencement has been really good and I am now awaiting a bespoke moulded top teeth fitting to enable me to move forward with teeth !! Initially, I had to see a Hygienist, Sian Baldwin 3 times, and because of her advice I changed my brushing regime to be more thorough. I will return with an update once my treatment is completed.   • After a bad experience with a previous dentist, it had been several years since I’d seen a dentist myself, and my 13-year-old son hadn’t been either. My mum has been a patient at El-Nashar for years and has always spoken so highly of the practice, so I finally found the courage to book an appointment. I’m so glad I did. Rajesh Kumar was the dentist I saw, and I honestly can’t praise him enough. From the moment I met him, he was kind, patient, and incredibly gentle. He took the time to put me at ease, explained everything clearly, and made what I’d been dreading for years a genuinely positive experience. After my appointment, I immediately booked my son in. He was naturally anxious too, but Rajesh’s calm, reassuring manner put him at ease almost instantly. It made such a difference seeing my son leave feeling relaxed and confident. A huge thank you to Rajesh and the team at El-Nashar for making us both feel so comfortable.
