Dentistry for Children

Children are born free of dental disease yet, by adulthood 95% of the population have active gum disease and most people have experienced some tooth decay and even tooth loss. It is our belief that disease can be prevented. Our aim is to provide your child with the best dental care available to secure their dental health.

If your child becomes a member of our practice you can make great savings on dental treatment and have the added comfort that you are insured in the event of a dental accident or emergency.

Level 1 Monthly Cool Kid’s Membership – £6.35/month

The standard benefits to which your child is entitled include:

• Treatment planning for your child’s future dental needs
• Assessment of emergencies and dental pain with any temporary treatment required, carried out at the dental practice during normal surgery hours
• Production of study models (when required)
• Any subsequent remedial work required within 12 months (on a like-for-like basis) following recommended restorative work

Insurance**

• Worldwide Dental Trauma Insurance to protect your child against the cost of large unforseen accidental damage
• Emergency Callout Insurance, should your child need a dentist in an emergency, anywhere in the world
• Redundancy protection to maintain monthly payments for your child for up to 12 months

Our members are also offered regular care appointments at no extra cost. After six consecutive monthly payments, your child will benefit from the following:

• A dental appointment involving a clinical examination, checking for signs of oral cancer and routine x-rays where clinically necessary
• A hygiene appointment to include scale and polish, periodontal advice and preventive techniques to reduce decay and gum disease

As long as your child continues to be a member of our practice, they will be eligible for such care appointments. All that you need to do is make six consecutive monthly payments and, each time you do this, your child will be entitled to attend the practice for their regular dental and hygiene appointment

Level 2 Monthly Teenager’s Membership – £7.30/month

As for Level 1 membership, but with the following additions:

• One session with our Oral Health Educator to provide:
  • Preventative techniques to avoid tooth decay and gum disease
  • Advice on diet
