How Does It Work?

Wrinkle relaxing injections block the chemical in the skin responsible for muscle contraction, thereby temporarily smoothing out wrinkles. At El-Nashar Dental Care we use all Azzulure.

Wrinkle relaxing injections can also be used to reduce bruxism (teeth grinding), hyperhidrosis (excess sweating) and the appearance of visible neck bands (platysma bands) that can cause the appearance of turkey neck.

We actively encourage patients to seek independent medical advice before having wrinkle relaxing injections.

Where Can It Be Injected?

Botulinum Toxin A can be injected on the face and body such as:

• Forehead
• Frown lines in between brows
• Eye area
• Mouth
• Nasal area ( bunny lines)
• Neck
• Armpits ( excessive sweating/hyperhydrosis)

Wrinkle softening is a straightforward procedure. We simply use a fine needle to inject painlessly into specific areas to smooth out those lines and wrinkles.

Although these injections have an excellent safety record, we shall of course discuss potential side effects during your initial consultation.
Can also be used to eliminate gummy smiles and can help treat teeth clenching by injecting the Botox® into the Masseter muscle to relax it.
